2018 Thornhill Walkathon

      Thornhill’s 41st Annual Walkathon

Saturday, November 3, 2018

10 AM – 4 PM

Thornhill Elementary School’s annual Walkathon is our biggest family-friendly fundraising event of the year! Students, parents, siblings, friends, teachers and staff will be in their walking shoes, walking lap after lap around the school campus to raise funds to support our Parent Faculty Club (PFC) enrichment and community programs. Your donation will help the PFC cover the salaries of the school’s physical education coach, art instructor, classroom aides, librarian, computer instructor, and music instructor for K-2. It will also help underwrite art programming and supplies, field trips and assemblies, the library and resource purchases, the school music programs, computer hardware and software, garden projects and much more! Please make a contribution to this year’s Walkathon and help ensure our students continue to have access to vital programs that our unified school district is unable to provide on its own.

To donate, click the "support your walker" link and search for their name.  To customize your child's personal fundraising page, click the "login" link to make the page their own!

About Our School

Thornhill Elementary School has a reputation for having high academic and behavioral standards that help give students the tools they need to further their role in society, and has repeatedly been recognized as a California Distinguished School. Our guiding vision is to ensure that all students have equal access to our core program within the context of the heterogeneous classroom. We attempt to balance classes equitably, based on gender, ethnicity, and academic achievement. We believe that such classrooms provide a rich learning and social environment for all students.  The Thornhill community takes great satisfaction in the knowledge that our students continue to build upon their education here and achieve success as citizens in our community.
